Just got the Guardian case for the iPhone 4 and am very disappointed. The carbon fiber itself is amazing - incredibly light and looks great. Unfortunately there are too many issues with the case itself. The clear coat over the carbon fiber is not uniform and has holes in it. I've seen another post on Facebook mentioning the same issue. I did not have an issue with reception that I could tell. The biggest problems were the fit. The case is a slider type case, and when I put it on, one of the sides did not line up correctly. I think it must be due to the neoprene glued to the inside, because it did line up when connected together without the phone. Worst of all was the plastic clip used to attach the two pieces together. When I first saw the clip I knew there would be issues, and sure enough, the second time I put the case on my phone and connected the two pieces, the clip broke. Very disappointing for a case close to $100. Such a shame, too, since carbon fiber is really nice. So, unfortunately within 15 minutes of opening the case, I ended up contacting their customer support for a refund. They are supposed to get back to me with RMA details.
