Hey All,
I'm planning on using an external USB RAID enclosure as my Time Machine disk, connected to an AEBS, so all my Macs can use the RAID disk. I've been looking at the Drobo, as it seems to do what I need to do. There's a newer version of the Drobo out now, with USB+FW, and is supposedly quieter and faster. Since I'll be limited by WiFi bandwidth, and I'll only be connecting via USB, does it matter if I use the old version? Any further improvements on the new one that I'm not aware of?
Thanks!
