Does anyone remember a while back when a Droid X ad leaked stating that the Droid X would have a "720p" screen? It was hilarious. Droid fans were hooting and hollering about how the iPhone 4 is already being "shown up" before it was even released, and that this screen would literally "pwn the iphone."
The Droid fans neglected to listen to an article from Engaget stating that the build they had seen, definitely did NOT have a high def screen. That didn't stop the iPhone haters from spouting off left and right. Well, now if you check the Macrumors article, you'll see that it was updated stating this:
Update 2: Verizon has modified its Droid X teaser page, replacing the "720P Screen" text with "Captures 720p", indicating that the earlier version was an error.
How could that be an "error?" Pretty ridiculous and it really shows the ignorance and blood lust the iPhone haters have. Any material they can find "one upping" Apple is like Christmas morning for some of these prized peaches.
