Drop calls on 4.0.1

idk if its just me but since ive downloaded 4.0.1 my calls have been dropping dramatically because of the new bar system.. I was getting 5 bars in my house but it has dropped to 3. When i get on a call it drops to 1. Does att/Apple not know how annoying/embarrassing it is to have calls droppin in 2010
