Don't know why it took me forever to do something like this, however DropBox is now my main folder; and am loving the fact that I can access it from anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone else has similar methods in terms of tweaking their OS X?

I didn't want to completely replace my documents folder, so I have a symbolic link between Documents and Dropbox - everything gets synced, but I still get to use the original Documents folder.

My first try with Dropbox didn't work out well - I moved my Quicken folder there and while it "synced" it to the other machine, it was corrupted and could not be used. the Dropbox forum says it's a known issue with the Quicken database.

I only put a few things in it now. It's somewhat useful, but I don't depend on it.
