Hi all.

In both Mavericks and Yosemite I had periodic high (>100%) cpu periods where Dropbox would run away despite being "Up to date".

Spoke to Dropbox support and they identified it as a LAN sync issue, disabling LAN sync in Dropbox preferences resolved the issue for me.

I get this everytime I start my computer it revs up on the CPU. It would calm down once dropbox was done. Thanks for the tip!!!
