I am trying to install dropbox on my iMac at work, I already installed it on my two other computers without issue but on my iMac I get this error. Any idea how to solve this? :confused:

I tried this and when I hit enter it just goes to the next line and does nothing.

sudo open /var/folders/gZ/gZz+NuIDHZehAelkxnO2fE+++TM/-Tmp-/dropbox_errorovbEAU.txt
:confused:

did you reboot? maybe it was removed. try copy and pasting the directory WITHOUT the txt file name into Finder's Go to Folder (command-shift-G) and seeing if the text file is there.

the reason i said try sudo open is because maybe the directory was inaccessible due to permissions, however now i think it can be accessed without root permissions.

I did not reboot, I tried the go to folder and got folder not found. I can't figure out what would cause this.
