Hey guys.
Just wondering, any Cydia app that will allow me to upload anything to dropbox?
If it had a progress bar and all it'd be perfect.

Thanks.

Didn't even know that's possible although I'd like to be sure it's possible before purchasing iFile.

Thanks!

Yes it is possible although not sure about having to purchase the full version {worth it though!}

Open iFiles, Settings, Remote Server and link with Dropbox, if you already have dropbox app installed it shouldn't ask for a password however you need to accept iFiles to use Dropbox.

Once the above is completed, add page {lower right} and select Dropbox, job done!

Will give it a try man. Thanks!
(Does it include kind of a progress bar or something when uploading files? Because sometimes I need to upload large (+1GB) files)

Hmm - not sure what you are trying to do here! Have you considered using SSH (secured shell protocol?). Copying a file over your wifi and that does have a progress bar!

It is my understanding that you can save literally anything to Dropbox and that file would be available to any device that has Dropbox installed on it with your log in details!

I was under the impression that you wanted to copy an iphone file to Dropbox...!

Yes, that's what I intend to do.

I'll explain the scenario. I have backup files from my main computer which are around 1GB. I can upload them to Dropbox from home but that would take ages. (Slow upload speed).

My intention is to put them into my iPad through my computer and then upload them to dropbox from my college, which has a wonderful upload speed.

That's exactly what I intent to do. ;)

Yes. The Dropbox integration in ifile is wonderful. In fact iFile is epic.

+1 I'd be lost without ifile.

Another useful tip if you didn't know, once you have Dropbox linked, and opened up in ifile, you can add the Dropbox folder as a bookmark, much easier to get to it then, bookmarks in file are brilliant.

I hate dropbox. Someone tipped me of Dropbox. I thought the videos would save offline but when I was away the videos went to hells ... so annoying.

All I upload to Dropbox is inside .DMGs encrypted with AES256.
(I just use it to backup important stuff online)
