Hi all.

Thinking of sticking all my manuals & magazines up on Dropbox, so i can conveniently stream to my IOS device. The total size is 281Gig, and while it will take a while, i know i have a backup on external hard drive.

This is all for "more convenience" and everything "just being in one place" rather than "oh shoot,, i need to sync only some stuff over because of the 16 Gig ipad limited space"

Good idea or bad ? I know steaming pages would take a while, but since Dropbox pre-streams anyway, its not a big deal.

Could be convenient (provided all documents are in supported formats). I'm doing something similar for a limited range of documents. The price tag for that much space is a bit hefty IMHO, but that's up to you.

Just try it with a few representative documents for starters and see if it works for you before you shell out money and wait for the huge upload to finish.
