Hey guys!
I recently had my laptop (macbook pro unibody) fall off the edge of my bed to land on its back side (near the black plastic strip area). It wasn't too far of a fall plus it landed on carpeted floor so impact was pretty minor. I inspected the laptop immediately and didn't notice any damage I could see from the outside.
However I did notice that my hinge was harder to shut on the last inch or so of space required to bring the lid flush down with the body and same thing with opening it. Its almost like something is snagged or rubbing against something when the lid is almost completely shut or just opened. Its also making a strange rubbing/crunch sound... hard to explain exactly.
I don't know if anyone has had this happen before and maybe could suggest a quick fix or check. I think I may take off the backside of the laptop to get a better look inside if that would help.
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!
