I just dropped my two day old MBP... the case slipped as I was zipping it up. Somehow, it still has a rather large dent on the bottom right corner (by the Superdrive). Is this covered under AppleCare at all? Anyone have any experience with getting this replaced without getting charged... $200?

Youre going to get all sorts of replies here.
Just call your apple store or better, just go there in person.

It shouldn't be. Applecare only covers manufacturing hardware problems meaning accidental damage definitely isn't covered.

It depends how nice the Mac Genius is feeling I think, you could say that it dented whilst in a case and that it wasn't made properly.

It's unlikely that it's covered though.
