Alright, so this sounds really dumb, but one of my friends was juggling oranges and one of them dropped onto the keyboard of my Macbook Pro. After the drop my macbook started beeping and the keyboard and trackpad were unresponsive. I powered off by holding down the power button, then rebooted.

It was a little slow to start, but that could be because of the amount of programs that reopened on startup. Since then I haven't had a problem.

I'm wondering if this could have any lasting impact on my macbook. Everything seems fine now and works right. For reference the orange was about 1-2 pounds and dropped right in the center of the keyboard.

Thank you for the help!

You might be the first person in the history of humankind to have an orange dropped on your Macbook Pro due to a person's lack of juggling skills :D
