Sad day, of all the products I don't have AppleCare on. I normally put on my Watch before going outside. The one time I dont and planned on putting it on in my car, it comes out of my pocket with my keys and boom, cracked face. Now I've gotta pay $250 to get it replaced, since it's 2 months past the warranty. Disappointing day for sure. Best to do it through Apple or would a 3rd party fix it for less and be just as good?

I _never_ suggest third party. Not saying its not a considerable option, but there is the potential with the repair process not being to Apples specifications. I know others have mentioned issues with the Haptic feedback with third party repair. Apple guarantees their work and I understand you will pay more, but its what I would do.

Also, you never mentioned Which Model Apple Watch you have, you could look for a used/refurbished model if it was a cheaper solution.
