I've noticed in my condo I am dropping calls now, I've dropped 4 in 2 days - never dropping them on my 3gs.

2 were dropped before bumper was added, two after.

This seems odd to me given that once the bumper is on I cannot replicate the issue with holding the phone degrading the signal and additionally with the anandtech findings that reception degradation inside cases is lower than the previous model.

Is anyone else having more dropped calls not related to holding the phone a certain way? Think it may be due to an influx of users or changes due to iphone 4 launch?

It may be the proximity sensor that is causing your calls to drop. Just a thought.

i don't think so.. as I get the 3 beep and it said call failed.

I did have the proximity sensor problem once - which to me seems more like moving the phone around - but that just caused me to mute it.

It's going to be interesting to see how this pans out, I am considering not selling my 3gs just yet.
