Dropped iphone 4 in toilet oops

So i dropped my iphone 4 in the toilet and i got it out straight away and it was like working completley fine and nothing was wrong with it at all?? I took the case off and put it in some rice incase but should i be worried like is it a delayed reaction or something? Can i continue to use it?

I hope that you turned it off immediately after retrieving it from the toilet.

I would suggest leaving it in the rice for at least 5-6 days...or even more, before trying to turn it on again.
