Yes, this is yet another 'my iPhone fell into the toilet' thread. I did everything I was supposed to do.... it was only submerged for several seconds. I dried off all external water, took out the SIM card, shut it off by holding down the home button and the power switch, and put it in an airtight bag of uncooked rice. However, my phone keeps turning itself back on. I know that I'm supposed to turn it off because it'll short circuit, but I can't figure out why it's turning back on! Trying to turn it off again is useless because it just boots up again. What else can I do? Am I out of luck?

My phone's battery was at about 30% when the incident occurred, so it burned itself out on its own. I'm going to leave it in the rice at least until morning (another 12 hours) and then see how it is.
