Well I finally dropped my trusty iphone 4 - from about 3 feet onto the concrete.

It is unmarked (thanks to the lovely unnamed silicone back cover), but after the drop there is no sound during the phone calls. So if somebody calls me, or i call them, or there is a voice message - nothing comes out, its dead silence.

BUT, everything is fine when i press the Speaker button, then i can hear the other person/voicemail through the bottom speaker. And it is also fine when I use headphones, i can hear everything perfectly. It is only when I'm using the iphone in a most straightforward way, next to my ear that is, then there is no sound.

I suppose I was still lucky, since I can still use the phone and all, but I was just wondering if anything similar happened to anybody else, and maybe someone has attempted to fix it?

:)
