So far I've managed to drop my iphone twice from around knee height. Using the bumper and PS (front and back) for protection. The phone is fine on the outside and works. However, I can't help but wonder if these mishaps have still somehow damaged the glass. I read somewhere that the type of glass Apple uses for the newest iphone can have microscopic fractures...which I presume could make it more likely that my phone brakes with little or no trauma in the future. I know I'm being ridiculous but should I take it in for a replacement?

Nothing will happen in the future. It's all fine, just love it and dislike AT&T. Remember those points and all will be well and good.

(They will not replace it for such a silly thing.)

This is the phone you want then.

If you dont want your phone to break, stop dropping it.

So what's the reason for replacement; you dropped your phone and now you're worried? Good luck with that.

Take it to an Apple Store and tell the Genius employee that you dropped your iPhone from knee height and caused microscopic fractures in the glass, and that this is clearly a flaw in Apple design and would like a replacement unit before you drop it again and shatter the glass.

Keep us updated.
