Dropped Macbook, any ideas what's wrong?

Blackbook late 2006 C2D 2ghz. I dropped it while in a case yesterday. The screen stopped working (it's just grey) the screen dims and brightens according to the f1 f2 keys, but the display doesn't show anything other than grey. Works with an external monitor connected. Any ideas what it could be?

Check the LCD panel cables and LVDS cable connections. They may have come loose or broken.

could be that you dropped it on the ground

but the LCD data cable sounds like the problem, im guessing it dosent display the indicator that it's changing the brightness it just does it?

isnt the LCD and Keyboard mounted right next to each other not sure what you mean
