So clumsy me dropped my 2018 MacBook Pro that I bought last year onto hard floor of a laundromat.

The laptop still works. It turns on, and charges, screen shows up with no issues.

only thing is it now has a huge dents as pictures show.

is this something that would be covered by AppleCare’s accidental damage? ($99 one?)

(and unfortunately due to winter store we just had, our Apple Store Express is closed for undetermined time. Is it best to get this fixed right away because of potential battery issue?)

Sounds like the definition of "accidental damage" to me. Also, if it was me I would definitely get it fixed sooner rather than later in case something got wonky with the battery. Lithium battery fires are pretty terrifying.

That would be covered under the $299 deductible. The $99 deductible would cover only one of the following: Screen, Top Case, or Bottom case. The entire computer is damaged so they will have replace the entire thing. It's going to be expensive, but $299 is better than buying a new computer. Just contact Apple support and they will send a box overnight to ship the computer back. Repairs are usually quick so you should have it back in less than a week. With that being said, all I have to say is thank god for AppleCare!
