Hey guys. I have a 2.16 Core 2 Duo Macbook purchased in June of 2007. This morning, while in my dorm here at school, I dropped it on the tile floor in the bathroom. I was holding it while it was open, and it landed like a teepee on the floor. When I picked it up, the casing around the edge of the screen had been knocked loose, and there are 3 faint yellow and red lines on the very edge of the screen. The casing just snapped back on, but the lines are there. Any ideas? I am still under warranty...what can I do about this? Any ideas on the cost to get the screen fixed my Apple? I may just want to sell it and get a MB Pro. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks-

Tyler

Looks like it's time for that upgrade. eBay it and take a loss. Apple will charge you an arm and a leg to replace the LCD, as it's not covered in your case.
