If its working, you should probably live with it. Let's see what Apple says, I doubt they will fix it unless they are in a really good mood.

shes fine, you think apple would fix it?

if you have a problem-free display on that unit, exchanging it might land you in a world of regret. the damage is minimal and probably not noticeable when you have it in the case.

like it said, i'd leave it alone if you have a defect-free screen.

Thats what im deciding to do, considering its only 2 months old, and once its in a case you cant notice it ill just keep it.

Everything else is fine, i had a screen protector on, and the switcheasy canvas cas. The fact it landed on a corner is the reason it bent. Thanks guys.

I doubt Apple would do anything about it (unless they quoted a price or something) unless you had it covered by insurance. I had a basketball thrown at my iPad in a case and it survived the fall admirably :)

i dropped mine yesterday.

I was on Amtrak and had it in my bag on the top luggage rack.

Reached up to get it out and dropped it.

The corner hit....my nose. I was able to catch it but boy, did that hurt!

@UP, congrats, nice reflex, my iPhone slipped out of my hand when I was getting it of my car, I love this device so much that I threw myself on the concrete floor to catch it and I did. Can't think of what would happen if it actually fell on the concrete floor. But I'm still not using any case for it, it's just to beautiful to put something on it.

What kind of drop was it? That case is similar to mine and it's survived a couple of spills onto grass and gravel.

I had some kid steal my iPad 2 right out of my hands in front of the Ohio State house. I chased him down and got my iPad back. He threw it on the ground to try and make me stop chasing him, which only enraged me further. If you look at my username, you'll see why he didn't have a very nice time when I caught up with him. :D

Its fine, don't worry too much about it :) It is in a place that you can't see it easily and even if you look for it you can barely notice it.. Most people's iPads and iPhones here have some scratches and dents here and there. They just make them unique and give them character ;) Enjoy your iPad mate and just forget about it…
