So I dropped my iPhone 7+ and I got the sides dinged up. I noticed the camera lens now has scratches on it, but you can't feel them with your finger/nail. I was wondering if this will degrade the photo quality when taking pictures?

(Side Note, I looked at my 6s+, which I dropped a dozen times and the camera lens is completely perfect. I must have been lucky, or perhaps extremely unlucky with my 7)

I watched a scratch test on youtube and the new camera lens on the iPhone 7 is the regular scratch resistance glass uses on the screen of the phone, which scratches around a level 6 of hardness. However, to my understanding, the iPhone 6+ series uses a sapphire crystal glass, which is near the hardness of diamond... around a level 8 hardness (considerably more scratch resistant).

Here's the video I watched on the hardness test of the iPhone 7 camera Lens:

I hope that helps!
