I am currently thinking of getting a ColcaSac sleeve for my new MacBook Air and the only thing that is stopping me is the protection that it provides. I used to have a memory foam sleeve and I dropped my previous mac accidentally from 4 feet onto asphalt and the only thing that happened was a nick on the aluminum casing. I was wondering if anyone had stories of them dropping their mac while using a ColcaSac and how that fared for you.

Thanks!

I have a ColcaSac and I don't really think I'd rely on it for drop protection. On carpet, perhaps.. but anything tougher and I think it would dent the aluminum.
