Dropping wifi

I have an iPad 2 running iOS 6. It's driving me nuts, it keeps dropping wifi randomly. I notice it while either streaming Netflix or surfing the web, it will drop off then reconnect. It's not the router as my iPhone and laptop stay connected its just the iPad. Any suggestions?
