I am trying to make my own custom drum beats for music that I have been creating. I have tried Garageband and you cant make any beats. If you know of the John Frusciante album To Record Water for Ten Days, he made many beats and I would love to know how to make them. If anybody knows any programs please post them.
 
I've used GarageBand in the past, no problems.
What do you mean you can't 'make any beats'
Make sure you've set the right instrument, and you can use the keyboard (tap the keys) to input your beat.
