This may not be the best website to post this on, but I thought I'd try anyways. Im going to explain what I'm trying to do.
A lot of keyboards and digital pianos have (what I call) drum machines built in. They will have a number of pre programmed beats that you can choose from and change the tempo to suit. Then the piano will have a couple of buttons to run it. If you start the play back and then hit one of the buttons, at the end of the current measure it will do a drum fill and then go into a variation. If you press the button again, they will fill and go back to the main beat.
I'm a musician, mainly a drummer. I'm trying to use something like this to perform live, except I want to do it with my MacBook. I have logic and main stage. Is there anyway I can use these programs, or any other programs, to create drumbeats and switch between them with a fill of some sort?
Thanks!
