I tried out the Apple Watch's calling capabilities today, and to my surprise, I could not even get past the "Press 1 for English..." prompt. The watch's numpad works fine for entering a phone number, but it seems like the Apple Watch isn't sending the DTMF tone over when numbers are pressed during a call.

Googling gave this Reddit result from way back in the series 0/1 days, but surely this is something that's been fixed over the past decade, right? Right???

Then again, given that the series 11's wifi is still using the same 802.11n radio that the series 0 used, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if DTMF still doesn't work...
