i would like have a U.K. wall charger that will charge a iPhone 12 pro max (wireless) and a 12.9 iPad Pro
I want them to be usb c
my question is should they both be delivering 20w for the best / fastest charging

Yes. Actually iPad Pro (2018 onwards at least) should take 30w and iPhone 12 might take 23w

injust bought an anker 2 port 60w is bc PD charger and I have one USBC-C cable for the iPad Pro (and my oculus quest), and one USBC-lightning for my iPhone and my family’s iPads

Pricewise its a little more expensive but you can get them in a single plug so can be more convenient. 20w are about £20 each, and the Anker I bought was £49 for 60w. Can also be used to charge a laptop if you’re only using one of the outputs. Just more flexibility was my thinking when I went for it.
