Dual ATI 2600's vs 8800

Hey guys... Basically, i'm wondering if a pair of ATI 2600's will be comparable to the Nvidia 8800. I have a pair of 22" monitors that run at 1680 by 1050... I'm a heavy Final Cut Studio user (that includes motion...).

I needed the computer now and can't wait... So I'm either going to order another 2600 or 8800 down the line...

So would a dedicated video card for each monitor allow me to game? Or should I just pony up the $315 for the Nvidia?

Crap. That's what i was afraid of. Darn ADC store wouldnt take gift cards. I needed the tower now. Looks like im getting the 8800 upgrade kit and will sell the 2600 on ebay or craigslist. Thanks Firefly
