Good day,

MBP mid 2012 dual hard drive setup.

Boot disk: Ssd in optibay caddy
Storage disk: stock toshiba 500 gb hdd

OS, apps (including parallels with windows .pvm file - most importantly) and user all stored on ssd boot disk.

Stock hdd unmounted. Does not show in disk utility. Probably Nfg.

My main issue is I cannot even get signed in on my user account even though I thought all the data was stored there. I get an error message like this:

"You are unable to log in to the user account "xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" at this time. Logging in to the account failed because an error occurred."

Can anyone help point me in the right direction? From the guest user I can view all the folders in my ssd's user account but cannot access them. "I don't have permission to see the contents"

Any help would be appreciated
