I have a Macbook Pro with a 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2GB RAM. I want to install Windows 7 to run some Windows apps that refuse to work under WINE. I already have the disk, so should I dual-boot using Boot Camp, or use VMWare Fusion?

To be lying, that doesn't depend on the software you want to use.

If your software requires the GPU for rendering or viewing or whatever calculation, the BC is better as a VM.

Oh, and some threads about similar issues, albeit more descriptive.

I've installed Windows 7 on Parallels and it's ran good but all the Aero features are disabled making windows 7 pretty useless. I went back to XP.

id say go with dual boot, cos then you can install paralells or vmware and use ur bootcamp partition as a virtual machine, so you can use the vm for quick stuff and reboot for stuff like games, its what i do
