I use my iPhone to snap pics of specimens on my microscope, either to catalog or send to clients or for peer review if needed. I recently upgraded my 5S to a 7 Plus, and discovered that I can't just put my phone up to my scope like I used to.

What happens, I put my phone up to the eyepiece on my microscope, and right as it focuses on the image the phone switches to the second camera (which is seeing nothing) and my screen goes black (because again, there's nothing right there for the second camera to see). If I move over slightly so that I can again see an image, using the second camera, as soon as it focuses, it jumps back to the first camera. Very frustrating. I searched settings and Googled, but can not find a way to disable this feature or any other workaround...anyone have suggestions??

Thank you!
