dual cinemas displays with MBPro?

Is it possible to run dual apple cinema displays from the new retinaMBP? If so, what all is required to do so, besides the displays?

Yes it will work. The latest Thunderbolt Displays can be daisy chained. If you are specifically referring to the slightly older Cinema Displays that have the minidisplay port plugs you cannot daisy chain them. They would have to plug directly into the two thunderbolt ports of the rMBP.
