I'm switching from a refunded 2018 15" to 13"+Mac Mini, i used to rock everything on a single 15" 2012.

Now, both will never be used concurrently (so software licenses should be fine with that).

I wonder how would be the most painless way to have everything up to sync as if it were one system.
This is what i thought about doing:
- have CCC installed on both systems, everytime i have to move from one system or another do a target disk mode and perform a backup on the other system
- move as much as possible to iCloud and have it sync via cloud... App settings/logic plugin settings etc will be a problem this way since they dont sync via icloud unless i do logical links.
- my projects will be on a shared external drive so I can just disconnect it and take it with me when i leave with the 13"
