hi all
i have a 2013 iMac running 10.11.2
I have another external 27" display connected via dual link DVI
i use istat menus and have noticed that when i run the displays as separate spaces....the ram usage for systemuiserver just keeps increasing over time.
I guess that is somewhat expected, as now there are two menu bars...but i've seen it grown to 2-3 gb of tam usage.
on the other hand, when running the displays the older way....systemuiserver never even made it to the top 5 or so applications listed for ram usage.
But, i do like the separate spaces for full screen apps. etc.
so my question, for those that run dual or more displays....
do you run them the 'old' way or separate spaces.
if as separate spaces, what is your ram usage like?
thanks
