I have an Aluminum iMac with a nearly full 320gb internal drive.

What I need is one external drive to provide additional storage space, and a second larger drive to backup the other two via Time Machine - I hope Time Machine is capable of doing this, but I don't know if it can.

Ideally, I would purchase a dual drive enclosure, a 500gb drive for additional storage, and a large 1TB drive to backup the internal drive on the iMac AND the 500gb drive.

Can I do this with this particular OWC firewire enclosure?

OWC doesn't mention anything about being Time Machine Compatible...Do I have anything to worry about here or are there better solutions?

That should work fine. TM doesn't care about the drive, so long as there is a volume on it.

Will I be able to set up the enclosure so that the computer will recognize 2 different drives?

Thank you.
