Hello all!
It's time that I replace my 2011 iMac and 2011 MacBook Pro. This time around, I'm looking to replace them both with a 2016 MacBook Pro. I like the idea of using a single Thunderbolt 3 dock so its one cable going from docked to portable to have ethernet, USB-A, displays, power, etc.
Are these able to push dual external displays (extended, not mirrored) on a single Thunderbolt 3 dock? The displays are both 1920 x 1080. I am looking at the 13" Macbook Pros with and without the Touch Bar (Iris 540 or 550 graphics). If not, would one of them be able to run dual displays one using a dock and another with just an adapter?
This is the dock I'm currently looking at purchasing after buying the MBP: https://www.kensington.com/us/us/4491/k38231ww/sd4600p-usbc-universal-dock-with-power
