I recently moved to a SSD+HDD setup, I kept my HDD in the normal location and used an optibay adapter to install an SSD.
I installed the OS/Applications on the SSD and moved the home folder (and sleep image) to the HDD. I made the changes in System Preferences to move to home folder.
SSD: /Volumes/SSD HDD: /Volumes/Data
This has been working fine for a few weeks. However, today after rebooting and logging in, OSX kept asking to rebuild my user folder. Looking in /Volumes/ I saw that my HDD was mounted at /Volumes/Data 1 and a random folder was mounted at /Volumes/Data
I was able to fix it by deleting Data, and remounting, etc. However, this same error kept happening with every few restarts.
Has anyone experienced this issue, and know of how to fix it?
