Dual iMac 27"

Odd setup, but I have 2 iMac's (2010 27") and I'd temporarily like to use the second machine as an additional display to the first.

I already had a mini display port -> mini display port cable, connected both up and neither see the other...

Any ideas/pointers on how to achieve this setup?

So you got your help from the previous post reply but I have a question.

If you want to use the 2nd monitor as a extension to the first why don't it be a cinema display rather than buying two of the same computer?

One would be the iMac 27" and the other a Cinema Display.
