Dual Layer DVD replacement for 20" G5 iMac

I have a G5 20" iMac.

I would like to replace the DVD for one that will do Dual Layer burn.

Of course I can pay for an expensive replacement.

I was wondering if any of these cheaper options available would work:
LG GSA-T20N
LiteOn DS-8A1P-21C

Anyone know if they are 100% compatible with the iMac G5 20"?

None of those will work, you need a slot loading drive, cant remember the g5 drive model maybe someone else does.
Or is it an external drive your after?

i say just get an extternal thats what i have and works great and it was really cheap already in a case
