I have a quick question. I just got a new monitor for my M1 MBP and I'd love to have a mount that my iPad can be next to the screen. Would something like this work? My monitor is curved if that matters.

The arm looks nice to hold two monitors, but won't really work with an iPad without some kind of extra mounting bracket for it. The arm you linked is designed for two displays each with VESA mounting holes. Your desktop display will likely have them (you'll have to verify yourself to be sure) but the iPad obviously has no screw mounts on its back.
