I now have two Benq PD2700U monitors on my M2Pro Mini and I'm not sure about the consequences of how I've got them connected. One monitor is connected HDMI-to-HDMI and the second is TB-to-DP. My question is about the second one: what's the difference (if any) between a TB-to-DP connection and a TB-to-HDMI connection (my only other option)? I don't have a TB-to-HDMI cable so I can't just try it out. The current setup works fine, but if TB-to-HDMA would gain me something over what I'm using I'd like to know.

You could daisy chain via thunderbolt.... but I'm curious if things are working good what kind of improvement you are looking for?

These monitors do not have USC-C ports. The only choices for video in are HDMI, DP, and miniDP. My question is whether there should be any difference in performance, or any difference, in using TB-to-DP or TB-to-HDMI.
