Anyone have similar issues as this one?
Connecting my 22" Viewsonic monitor to my 13" 2010 mbp.
This issue ONLY occurs when both monitors are on (non-clamshell mode).
At first about 50% of crashes occurred after waking up the mac.
As long as i put it to sleep and turn it on it's fine, but if my monitor is idle long enough, it goes into an idle state and the mac doesn't seem to be sleeping (lights not blinking).
I just tried to avoid this situation by always putting it to sleep before I go away from my mac. But now it's crashing randomly. I'm unable to reproduce this issue, it happens out of no where. I might be watching a video, away from the computer for 1 minute, or dragging a folder to the other screen.
What happens is that my external monitor goes bright white, my mbp's monitor goes greyish. Just today when it crashed my mbp was flickering purple/pink. I'll upload a screenshot later.
Any help?
