dual monitor help

I currently have a G5 tower with ATI 9600xt card and 1, 23inch display. I would like to add another (sony HDTV LCD at costco). I don't quite get how i am suppose to do this. Do i get a cable that splits the 1 DVI port or do i use the other port on the card which is different than the DVI. ADC i think. Or do i need another card all?

one is DVI which is connected to my current display. the other is a bigger connector.

I believe your card has one ADC & one DVI. The Cinema Displays use DVI and to use a second DVI monitor you need an ADC to DVI converter.

Get an ADC to DVI adapter or a second video card with DVI. You can't split the single DVI port.
