Hi Guys,
I've recently purchased 2 x Dell U2312HM external monitors to connect to my MacBook Pro 15". One of the monitor is connected through the MiniDisplay Port and another is connected with a USB-DVI adapter from j5create.
Most of the time now, I am using the monitor from the mini display port as the primary monitor and the USB-DVI monitor for extra space.
However, I realized that on some of the Windows computer, you are able to set the monitors to a horizontal span mode in which the computer will detect the display as one monitor of 3240x1080 rather than 2 x (1920x1080) in order to run some fullscreen apps on both monitors.
For example, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brJYNTKlnNs&feature=related
I was just wondering if any of you know how to do that on the Macintosh ?
P.S: I understand that you would be able to do it by purchasing the Matrox DualHead2Go. However, I would like to know if there are any softwares or any other methods in which I do not have to spend the money for an extra hardware.
Thank you for your time.
With Regards,
Nycky
