I have an external monitor hooked to my Macbook Pro. The external monitor is my main display.

Currently whenever I fullscreen something on my laptop display, the dock disappears on my external monitor. If I click on something on my external monitor, the fullscreen will go away on my laptop.

Is there an easy fix so that I can fullscreen my laptop display and do things on my external monitor?

Thanks!

Have you set the display to mirror or extension?

It's extended. It's weird. It was working fine earlier, but I unplugged everything to go to a meeting. When I hooked everything back up, it was doing this.

its an osx issue, if you full screen with the traffic light button its ok, but if you fullscreen the whole app it moves the other monitor to the same desktop space

This is happening mostly for websites where I fullscreen a video in the browser
