Two questions:
1. What cables would be needed to connect two Dell P2715Q monitors to the new Mac Mini M4 Pro?
2. My monitors are a few years old. Should I upgrade them? They still look great to me, though. They are 4k. If so, what would be a good match for the New Mac Mini M4 Pro?

Thoughts are appreciated - Thanks

  1. I would have one use an HDMI cable and the other use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. You could also use two USB-C to DisplayPort cables, but then you'd be left with one USB-C/Thunderbolt port in the back. Also, you cannot daisy-chain them; both will need to be connected directly to the Mac (or a Thunderbolt dock).
  2. No, not if you're still happy with them.

I have the same concern too, but, won’t a 2 to 1 HDMI switch do the job?

Meaning - 1 out from Mac mini to 2 x HDMI monitor? :)

Correct me if I’m wrong

That’s fine, as long as you want both displays showing the same image (i.e. “mirrored”)

The far more common use for 2 displays is “extended display” where each monitor shows a different image. The OP might want mirrored but since they didn’t specify, it’s best to assume not.
