dual processer (ghz unknown) for free...basically

hey! i have a friend from school who has a 1 - year - old powermac G5 dual processor, but i don't know the actual speed, he says its currently broken, but i'm sure it can be fixed easily. he was thinking of giving it to me for free, but now he wants a trade, or some money for it. i think i could pull off givin him $500 canadian for it, but i don't have ANY money right now, this is a dream come true if i can get this from him....but the only thing is that i'd still need a monitor....oh well

Well, it can only be 1.8ghz or 2.0ghz if it is a year old. That is some deal.

Check the model number on the back, and look it up. Be careful buying a computer that doesn't work...

i know, i'm going to be carefull, i'm only gonna buy it from him if i can take it in to get looked at and have a quote given on the repairs (if they can be done)
