now that the Powerbook line has a siginificantly larger case, and Steve was touting the new 17" AlBook as a replacement for desktops, I'm wondering if we won't see a dual processor version of the AlBook before 6 months to a year from now.

Anyone?

whats that gonna cost, $4000 bucks. what about battery life, that will be affected too. Plus, they have to redesign the things motherboard and internal components to accomadate the sceond processor. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I'd be surprised if it was so soon.

Where will they put the huge fans the current dual processors require?

You need more than an inch of height.

maybe next week the price would be like 3999, but six months from now, about 3299 will do just fine...or even less like 2999:D
